Prophet endorses President Mugabe

natural resources. Prophet Wutaunashe exhorted Zimbabweans to vote for President Mugabe and Zanu-PF next week to consolidate the gains made in indigenisation and economic empowerment.

Addressing thousands of Zanu-PF supporters at a rally to drum up support for the party’s Gutu North National Assembly candidate Dr Paul Chimedza at Mawere business centre, Prophet Wutaunashe urged Zimbabweans to ignore the economic hardships induced by illegal sanctions which he said were on the brink of being overcome.
“I want to urge you to vote next week for a leader and political party that gives you a sewing machine and materials to make your own clothes than voting for a party that will only give clothes.

“What will you do if the clothes get worn out?” he asked.
“I am urging Zimbabweans to vote for President Mugabe and Zanu-PF in the coming elections because they have a clear track record and are consistency, which answers the aspirations of the majority.

“It is important for Zimbabweans to vote for President Mugabe because his drive to redistribute land to the majority and moving ahead to make sure that indigenous people have complete control of their soil and what is underneath it is plausible.’’

Addressing the same rally, Dr Chimedza concurred, describing President Mugabe as a great statesman whose legacy would transcend generations.
Dr Chimedza decried the poor performance and abuse of Constituency Development Fund by the late Gutu South legislator Professor Eliphas Mukonoweshuro, whom he said did not implement a single developmental project for the constituency.
