Just some interesting indicators GDP per capita of Zimbabwe in 1960 was $ 280, 1982 was $1084 and in 2011 was $ 757. Singapore in 1960 it was $394, 1980 $ 6741 and in 2011 $ 46000. Obviously our Presidential budget is contributing to the growth. Me wonders how big is the monthly medicine budget for Mpilo hospital compared to the budget for these trips.
Would it not be more cost effective to buy the equipment and fly the doctors into the country with the added benefits that we can also access the same equipment? Just wondering.

Truth is that there not many people in Zimbabwe today that should enjoy the benefits of having “Zimbabwe ine huchi nemukaka”. The only problem and hitch is that the Powers that Be have allowed and taken to the bandwagon people who do not deserve to enjoy these fruits and that is what irks most Zimbabweans especially the Liberation War Veterans who together with these people gave their all for the sake of Zimbabwe, zvinongorwadzwa and everyone feels betrayed. Regai Baba varapwe….. Doctors can do whatever they can but kana nguva yakwana ichangokwana chete and hapana anoramba. Mati dai paine airamba would we still not have the Chitepo’s, Tongogara’s, Nehanda’s, Kaguvi’s in this Zimbabwe of ours, zvine nguva.
