LIVERPOOL. — Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reiterated that Philippe Coutinho is not for sale — and says “there is no price limit to let him go”.

Barcelona have seen a second bid for the Reds’ No.10 — totalling £90 million, including add-ons — rejected by Liverpool.

The Anfield board took just 35 minutes to turn down the second offer from Camp Nou for the Brazilian, who Barcelona see as a long-term replacement to Andres Iniesta.

The Reds are standing firm, with Coutinho central to Klopp’s plans ahead of the new season — with the German eyeing a sustained title push. And while Klopp believes “no player on the planet is untouchable,” Liverpool aren’t going to be parting with their playmaker this month, particularly after he inked a new deal only in January.

“Liverpool is not a club that has to sell players,” declared Klopp, speaking to Sky Germany. “That is set in stone. So what they pay in the end doesn’t matter. — The Mirror.
