Pastor Guy Freeman Siyawareva and founding president of Living Flames Christian Centre last week Friday launched two motivational books at a colourful ceremony held at his church in Harare. The books “7 Things Jesus Did for You” and “My New Life in Christ” are set to give the down trodden populace a new lease of life through Christian teachings contained in the two.

Speaking during the launch, Pastor Siyawareva said the books should find their way everywhere.

“I want these books to be read in hospitals, prisons, homes and everywhere,” said Pastor Siyawareva.

In an interview, Pastor Siyawareva said by publishing the books, he was not in competition with anyone but has joined other men of cloth in preaching through writing.

On his anthology, he said; “Everyone has a role to play and by writing I cannot say I surpassed other writers since we do not measure the word of God.”

“My New Life in Christ’ is an inspirational book that will guide people to know what God has in store for them.

“The word of God tells us that through knowledge or the just be delivered, I have seen that many people live below the life that Christ presented to us.

“In this book I was inspired by the spirit of God to enlighten Christians to have a revelation of what it means to be Christian. Pastor Siyawareva said there are many doctrines that have gone out there and his book comes in as a light to the body of Christ.

“Obviously my life has been changed, and now I am speaking of this life that everyone should have because I already possess it.

“I wrote ‘My New Life in Christ’ and I am giving it to anyone that they can personalize it.”

In his second book, “7 Things Jesus Did For Every Believer”, Pastor Siyawareva said sharing with Christians and non-believers on the life of the cross was marvelous.

“I talk about the life of the cross, the purpose of the resurrection, what it means and the victory that we perceived in Jesus Christ,” he said.

Zeal could have been the best word to describe Pastor Siyawareva who had to work on the books for over two years all in an effort to serve souls through writing.

The books will be distributed through, Amazon and bookshops dotted around the country.
