Gospel musician Pastor Bandimba who made waves with song “Jesu Idombo” has bounced back with an album titled “Taura Nhoroondo”. The six-track album has songs of different genres with deep gospel messages that relate to various situations.

The album that was launched late last year, has songs “Pepere Pepere”, “Mhirizhonga Kwete”, “Chikristu Rudzii”, “Hazvina Maturo”, “Ndiwe Wakakonzeresa” and “Taura Nhoroondo”.

The musician said his failure to release videos affected some of the albums he released for the past years.

“Since ‘Jesu Idombo’ I have not been releasing videos, a move that has affected me but I hope to have videos for this album as well,” he said.

According to the musician the album has songs that value Christian principles.

“Pepere Pepere”, is a song that encourages Christians to avoid church migration while “Mhirizhonga Kwete” is a track that encourages Christians to stay peacefully in their homes.

“Taura Nhoroondo” which is the title track encourages Christians to talk or write their stories of victory after God has lifted them up.

The album has Jazz, Sungura and Dendera type of music.

Reflecting on his career the musician said with the help of a number of individuals he managed to record seven albums “Mudyari” (1998) “Dombo” (1999) “Phillippians 4 vs 4” (2002), “Zembera” (2004), “Mubvunzo” (2006), “Zvicha” 2009 and “Akoromoka” in 2012.

The last album was produced by yesteryear musician Norman Tapambwa who hailed the musician for his talent.

“Bandimba is a humble musician who has vast talent.”

“I like the way he writes the way and he makes sure he comes in the studio well prepared,” said Tapambwa.

Hailed in Bindura, Bandimba did his education in Mt Darwin where he also started his career as musician.

He started playing guitar while at Mavhuradonha High School in Dande and that was the beginning of a music path that has taken him through the gospel terrain over the past years.
