Another big party for evicted Big Brother Africa The Chase housemate Pokello Nare is on tonight at he ZimCafe Hotel and Conference Centre.
Affectionately known as the “Queen of Swag” during her stay in the reality TV show, Pokello is expected to turn on her style when she features at one of Harare’s leading upmarket hangouts. There is no doubt Pokello will be stirring up things just the way fans like it.
Pokello will be treated like royalty and the red carpet will be rolled out for her and, of course, her entourage comprising video vixens and some groupies.

The “Queen of Swag” aka Addicted to Shoes boss lady went into the Big Brother Africa house primarily to “write her own story and played the game to the best of her ability, showing people who she really was”.

Even after being evicted from the house, Pokello made headlines for playing the game well as well as having a great opportunity to experience different people from different backgrounds.

Isaac Neshamba, who is the F&B guru and one of the directors at ZimCafe, said they were pleased to host Pokello for a massive eviction party for the mature crowd.
“Pokello has been out and about but we are pleased to be hosting her at our upmarket joint where she will mix and mingle with a totally different but mature crowd. She will make a guest appearance, have a drink up with fans and enjoy the ambience at the hotel,” Neshamba said.

He said there will be lots in store for patrons and also great entertainment from Huggies Entertainment, the leading old skool music DJs who have rocked the hotel every weekend.

Huggies Entertainment, comprising Kudzi “Mr Kool” Marudza, Witness “Chuman” Matema, Ronald “D-Train” Chiwanza, Candy, Webster Brandy and Dee Blaze will be in the mix.

The party doesn’t stop as Mr Kool revs party people with his amazing delivery on the turntables. If you love soul, hip-hop and R‘n’B it will be all in the mix for you at the ZimCafe Hotel.

Those who love yesteryear music will have enough dosage courtesy of Mr Kool who has been running the show on Power FM since the 1980s with the likes of radio guru the late Josh Makawa. Mr Kool knows his music like the back of his palm.

Once he takes over the turntables you are assured of a fantastic voyage into sound as Mr Kool throws down some serious party music from the 1970s, 1980s to the 1990s. Put on your dancing shoes as Mr Kool goes like: “Party party, keep on, keep on.”

But somehow things will be done differently when Chuman and D-Train take turns to spin the hits. It will be non-stop music as Chuman blazes it up with rare grooves. He enjoys taking it nice and easy on the decks but slamming all the classics.

D-Train is a class of his own and he is a joy to listen to. His music taste appeals to mature and trendy audience who patronise the joint. The last time D-Train turned on his style with some sing-along tunes that fans love to enjoy. Expect to hear music by Soul II Soul, Teddy Riley, Keith Sweat, R Kelly and many more from the old days.
