‘No single vote to go to MDC-T’

Day Primary School in Zvimba South constituency yesterday, Amai Mugabe said just like Mashonaland Central province where supporters literally ran away from MDC-T leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai, the MDC should find it difficult to garner even a single vote in Mashonaland West province.

“No single vote should go to the MDC. We should learn to appreciate the good things done for us by President Mugabe and his party,” Amai Mugabe said. She said MDC failed to bring development to the people of Zimbabwe for the past four years they were in the inclusive Government.

“There is no other party like Zanu-PF. Zanu-PF has a history unlike these other parties which were created to advance the interests of the white community.
“MDC represents the interests of whites. Their talk is all about reversing the land redistribution exercise so that they give it back to the whites,” Amai Mugabe said.
She, however, said people now realise that Zanu-PF is a people’s party and no longer wants to be identified with the failing MDC party.

She said although MDC-T is claiming that the situation in Zimbabwe has improved, things were still difficult for the majority. She said Tsvangirai was insincerity to the people and women.

“What kind of a leader makes his people suffer first to vote for him. In Bulawayo, he said factories will never be opened until he became president. Which year is he going to be president?

“Who will allow him to be president of this country?” she asked.
She condemned the MDC-T leader’s behaviour of impregnating and dumping women saying his actions were not presidential.

“People do not see how good a leader they have is until he is taken away from them.  0President Mugabe is God-given and has the people at heart. You can never compare President Mugabe to Tsvangirai. In fact comparing them is an insult to the President,” she said.

The elderly were also given food hampers. Candidate for Zvimba South seat Cde Walter Chidhakwa acknowledged the importance of the visit by the First Lady to his constituency.
Cde Chidhakwa said her visit is no different from being addressed by President Mugabe himself because she is the closest person to him.

Mashonaland West Governor Cde Faber Chidarikire, senatorial candidate for the province, Cde Edna Madzongwe, candidate for Zvimba West Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi, candidate for Zvimba East Cde Francis Mukwangwariwa and other senior party officials also attended the rally.
