“Rain, rain go away, come again another day”. The above phrase is quite common with a lot of youngsters, especially with children who do not want the rains because it deprives them of outing activities. Yes, rains have been pouring in equal measures in all corners of the country and farmers are celebrating following a spell of drought that hit the country in the last two farming seasons.

Teen motivator, Alice Hart-Davis once said, the return to the soggy summer doesn’t have to be a washout.

So far let us say the rains are here to stay this season but we should think creatively.

Make sure you always have your raincoat and satchel or backpack protector.

Avoid playing in the rains while walking to and from school.

It is uncool.

I hope you are also giving yourself time to do your homework.

Our gadget of the week, according to gadgetmania.com is the, “Night Vision Digital Video Camera”, yes it records in the dark.

Everyone seems to have digital video cameras these days, whether it’s carrying a dedicated device such as the Flip Ultra HD Mini Video Camera or even simply using their mobile phone to record videos, however, technology clearly moves on and now you can record footage in the dark.

In the past, having the ability to see in the dark has only been available to the likes of the TV companies, the army and the police — at best members of the public could only hope to buy an expensive set of night vision binoculars to get an idea of what was happening around us in the mystery of the night.

However, things have changed — now you can get a night vision digital video camera for less than the cost of those aforementioned expensive pairs of binoculars.

A few months ago, a nifty pair of Night Vision Goggles was launched, which look very cool at a decent price, but with this infrared night vision camera, not only can you view things in night vision, it can also take both still images and videos (640×480 resolution) in the pitch dark.

So you’ll able to see exactly what’s going on in the dark, but it also works in normal light conditions too which means you don’t need another separate device. When the darkness of night descends upon you, it automatically switches to night vision mode!

This camera gadget is very easy to use since it is trigger operated and features a 2 LCD screen with which you can see exactly what you are filming and also use it as a means of purely seeing in the dark.

The camera has 32MB of onboard memory (which captures a paltry 2 minutes of footage), so we are sure you’ll want to expand that using the SD card memory slot with which you can get a much better 75 minutes from a 2GB SD memory card.

So whether you fancy going ghost hunting and filming something infinitely better than the likes of Most Haunted, taking it on a camping trip, perhaps exploring the woods in a “Blair Witch” style adventure or simply want to look out into your garden to see what kind of nocturnal visitors from the animal kingdom you get, then having a Night Vision Digital Video Camera will definitely be a good investment!

On international scene, our favourite boy, JB is bringing back the bangs.

Justin Bieber steps out with his famous teenage floppy fringe after dismissing ex-Selena’s romance with The Weekend

As a teenager he was as well-known for his floppy hairstyle as his teeny-bop tunes.

But while Justin Bieber’s music may have matured, he has brought back his bangs.

The singer was spotted fuelling up in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Canadian singer rolled back the years by opting for a heavily fringed bowl cut without any products, as he stepped into the 7 Eleven to pick up a canned Starbucks iced-coffee.

He left his leg tattoos on display in salmon pink shorts, and box-fresh white sneakers.

The “Love Yourself” singer stayed with the pastel palette as he added a soft grey hoodie.

The star donned a set of spectacles and looked to be in good humour, despite his ex Selena Gomez being spotted in an embrace with The Weekend.

According to TMZ, the “Sorry” hitmaker — who dated Selena on and off between 2011 and 2015 — has dismissed the relationship as tactical on the brunette’s part.

It’s said that Justin believes this is all “cookie-cutter stuff” for her — Selena has been linked to previous collaborators including Nick Jonas, Zedd and, of course, Bieber himself.

Ok JB, keep moving the trends . . .
