LAS VEGAS. — Floyd Mayweather Jnr has reiterated that he has no intention of making a return to boxing.

Speaking as a guest commentator during the main event of a Fox Sports 1 card in Las Vegas, the former WBC and WBA welterweight champion said he was happy outside the ring and had no desire to return.

Mayweather retired in September last year after defeating Andre Berto in Las Vegas to tie Rocky Marciano’s 60-year-old record at 49-0. However, the 38-year-old recently claimed he has turned down “nine-figure” offers to return to the ring for a 50th fight, and joked he could “put a halt on” Amir Khan-Canelo Alvarez by fighting Danny Garcia on the same night.

Asked whether he had an itch to return to the ring as he watched Alexis Santiago beat Erik Ruiz in their bantamweight bout, Mayweather said: “Absolutely not.” — Sky Sports.
