NGEZI Platinum’s celebrations were put on hold after they were held to a 2-2 draw by DC Academy at home in a Northern Region Division One League championship race.

But it appears Kifton “Somalia” Kadurira and his men are within touching distance of a ticket into the domestic Premiership. Despite the dropped points, Ngezi were left to fancy their chances after close rivals Gunners lost at home to unpredictable Karoi.

Black Rhinos were also held to a goalless draw at home by DStv Rangers which saw them dropping into fourth place. ZRP Morris are now second and trail the leaders by 16 points.
