MIAMI. — Neymar has been involved in a training ground bust-up with a teammate as rumours about his future at Barcelona continue to swirl.

The Brazil star has been linked with a world record £196 million move to Paris Saint-Germain, with Sky Sports News having been told that his chances of leaving Barcelona this summer are 90 percent.

He is currently on tour with Barcelona in the United States and scored the only goal in their 1-0 win over Manchester United in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday. Barcelona have since moved on to Miami, where the incident involving Neymar took place in the run-up to their clash with Real Madrid today.

Barcelona superstar Neymar stormed out of training after clashing with team-mate Nelson Semedo. Footage taken during the Spanish side’s training in the US shows the 26-year-old being physically restrained after confronting Semedo.

Neymar’s neck is grabbed by the full-back just seconds after the forward scored a goal. He responds by squaring up to him, before appearing to gesture: “What are you doing?”

Semedo then walks away as the rest of the Barca teammates look on — but Neymar isn’t done yet. The ex-Santos star screams at the defender before trying to lunge in his direction.

Sergio Busquets then steps in to restrain the out-of-control player. Training was halted because of the incident and Neymar is then seen taking off his training bib before storming off the pitch.

Sky Sports News understands Neymar wants to leave Barcelona as he has become increasingly frustrated at “playing second fiddle” to Lionel Messi.

“Only a miracle will keep him, he really has made up his mind to leave,” a source in Spain close to Neymar told Sky Sports News earlier in the week.

“At the age of 25, he thinks it’s his time to win the Ballon d’Or,” the source added. “He believes he can be the best player in the world at another big club.”

It is understood Paris Saint-Germain remain the only current club willing to meet the player’s €222 million (£196 million) release clause, with Chelsea and Manchester United unwilling to do so. It is also claimed Neymar is aware that a “growing number” of supporters do not want him to stay, with recent media polls in Globo Esporte and the Barcelona-based Sport newspaper revealing that the majority of those asked think he should leave.

“Barcelona keep asking him to deny stories and to tell publicly what he told them two days ago — that he’s happy at club. But he’s quiet,” said Guillem Balague, Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert, on Twitter.

“Barcelona expect PSG to pay Neymar’s buyout clause this week,” added Balague.

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has said Neymar is not for sale. PSG remain confident of signing the 25-year-old, having held talks with Barcelona officials last week over the structure of the proposed deal, which will see Unai Emery’s side pay his €222 million (£196 million) release clause in full. — Sky Sports.
