Artist Tofara Dube has launched his book “Africa Ahead” which explores various issues affecting Africans living in the continent and abroad.
Speaking to The Herald Entertainment last week Dube said this book is a true reflection of what African must do in solving several issues affecting the continent.

The book is being sold by an online sales site Amazon for US$4,50. People of African origin all over the world often suffer racial discrimination and a low standard of living. The book blames this unfortunate state of affairs on a lower level of civilisation in this world against the general thinking that the world became civilised centuries ago. This book suggests that the solution lies in raising the levels of the world’s civilisation. It is a must read for every person of African origin.

The author does not hesitate to explore anything that he believes requires to be addressed for the sake of making progress in solving the problems of people of African origin.

Consequently, some Africans might deem some statements in the book uncomfortable. Similarly, people of other races may also find discomfort in some of these statements.

But the book is positive about the final outcome if the suggested solutions in the book are executed to their logical conclusion.

“I am very optimistic that an African Union conversion that will be held in three years time will also look into some of the issues in the book,” said Dube.

Turning to the issue of online selling the author said all people are given chance to buy the book.

“It is difficult for me to deliver hard copies abroad but with the invention of new technological versions we are selling it online at a cheap price,” he added.
