JOHANNEsBURG. — Mpumalanga Black Aces insist they are in the dark about the continuous reported interest in their Zimbabwean striker Tendai Ndoro.

Orlando Pirates have for long been mentioned as being keen in Ndoro, who scored seven goals in 17 matches following his delayed arrival at Aces in January.

The Buccaneers’ cause is aided by the fact that they still have the foreign space available.

Mamelodi Sundowns have also been linked with the 26-year-old in recent times, but the reality is that the Brazilians don’t have the foreign space to accommodate him during the forthcoming transfer window, unless they choose to buy him and then loan him out or park him at Chloorkop.

While these are the fundamentals around any possible moves for the Bulawayo-born striker, Aces boss Mario Morfou maintains that they haven’t been approached by any club.

“No club has approached us about Tendai Ndoro and this is no secret,” he told KickOff.com.

“If we have been approached by anyone we would never make that a secret because there is nothing illegal in rightfully approaching another club for their player.

“If we had been approached I would have known because I am involved in such issues here at the club. I haven’t spoken to anybody from the mentioned clubs.

“At the moment we are not selling the player. Unless an offer that forces us to sell is tabled, this is our position as a club.” Ndoro has only scored once this season in the 10 games he has started, with that sole strike coming in the first League game of the season against Bloemfontein Celtic. — KickOff.Com.
