HARARE City striker Osborne Mukuradare is enjoying a new lease of life at the club. The former Monomotapa man got his first hattrick this season when City beat fellow relegation candidates Bantu Rovers 3-2 on Wednesday to take his goal tally to five in as many league games. He was also on target when his solitary strike knocked out ZPC Kariba in the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup last Sunday.

“I am happy with the way things are turning out for me but I believe it’s a result of teamwork. We are all enjoying the good run and my personal target is to get into double figures at the end of the season.

“My teammates have been very supportive and I would also want to believe the coaches have really helped me to regain my confidence. As a team we remain positive.

“We are all putting in so much effort and the team is gelling well,” said Mukuradare.
Harare City, who lost six straight games at the beginning of the season, appear to have recovered from the poor start and have since risen to 10th place on the log standings.

“Thumbs up to the boys. They are playing well but I think we still have a long way to go,” interim coach Masimba Dinyero said.
“We need to continue working hard to collect as many points as we can. We don’t need to get carried away by this run, we are not even out of the relegation puzzle yet because one match can change everything.”
