Motivational author Patson Dzamara who was supposed to launch his book titled “The Leadership Door” on April 6 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel has postponed the date to April 10 at the same venue.

He said the postponement was due to the fact that the launch was coinciding with the Easter holidays.

“The launch is still on, I wanted to launch this book on my birthday but since the date was just after Easter Sunday, we decided to move the date to April 10 since we discovered that people will be coming from Easter conferences making it difficult for many to attend the launch,’’ he said.

The book is the author’s sixth publication after “The Winning Team”, “The Development Matrix”, “Dimensional Leadership”, “Finish What You Start” and “The Anatomy of Process” which were all launched last year.

He said: “The Leadership Door is a book for people who are in leadership. I am very excited to be launching my sixth book that I have dedicated to all the leaders and I am sure it will help them in different aspects of their leadership roles.

“The main thrust of the book is leadership and I believe my mandate is to lead and develop other leaders through leadership consultations and leadership resources through books, compact discs and seminars,” he said.

He said he was also working on two more books, one on leadership and the other on relationships titled “Dear Miss, Dear Mister”.

“I am looking forward to release two more books before the end of the year, one on leadership and the other on relationships which has already been done but I am making some final touches here and there,” he said.

Dzamara said the passion to tackle social issues that people face in their daily lives had given him the desire to continue writing everything he feels will help people.

“There is always a need for us to write from our own standpoint based on who we are and what we experience.
