“We treat every concert as a different affair and we line up new acts according to the magnitude of the gig .Afro-fusion outfit Mokoomba says it is geared up to stage a memorable act at Mi Casa’s show set for 7Arts Theatre in Avondale on March 4.

The group will share the stage with South Africa’s Mi Casa and rising local star Bryan Kadengu.

The group’s manager Marcus Gora said they have been on international tours recently and have begun rehearsing specifically for the Mi Casa concert.

“We treat every concert as a different affair and we line up new acts according to the magnitude of the gig,” said Gora.

“Mi Casa is a good group and we have to put extra effort to match them on stage. We know how to do the best and we look forward to impressing new fans at every concert. We are taking this concert seriously and our performance will say it all.”

During the tour, Mi Casa will be launching their latest album “Home Sweet Home” in the country.

Tickets for the show are available at Reflections Gift and Card Stores, with branches at ZB Life Towers, Avondale and Sam Levy’s village. Tickets are also available online at www.webtickets.co.zw.

“Preparations are going on smoothly and we are promising more than just a show, but a quality experience for those who love good music and entertainment just as in the same manner we delivered the Anne Kansiime show last year,” noted show organisers.

Mi Casa graced the Harare International Festival of the Arts in 2013 and left lasting impressions. The success of their current album that has various collaborations is likely to make next month’s show exciting.

“Home Sweet Home” is a double CD album packed with 25-hit-tracks and features talented stars like Cassper Nyovest, Big Nuz, DJ Tira, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Euphonik and Kenyan super group, Sauti Sol.

Now operating under a new record label, 34 Music, Mi Casa entered the music arena following their debut album titled “Micasa Music” in 2011, which contained the hit single “These Streets”.

It was followed by other hits such as “Heavenly Sent” and “La Vida”. The hits made the group a household name and they have toured internationally.
