MISSING LINK . . . Augustine Mbara (right) will once again be absent from Dynamos line-up when they face How Mine at Rufaro on Sunday

DESPITE being sidelined by injury Dynamos skipper Augustine Mbara believes his troops have the capacity to keep their strong surge for a fifth successive Premiership championship. Dynamos will host How Mine at Rufaro on Sunday but Mbara will be missing once again as he nurses an injury he picked when he twisted his ankle during the match against Triangle at Gibbo.

The tall defender, who provides stability at the back, has not been a lucky fellow in recent matches and following his return from suspension, he was quickly sidelined again with an injury. But the former Warriors centre-back, a part of the Glamour Boys in the last four years, when they won the Premiership title under Callisto Pasuwa, is not worried to be missing in action.

He says it is all about teamwork and his teammates will take care of things. Mbara has called on his troops to rise to the occasion again. “Right now all the games we play we don’t have to take them lightly, all the matches are tough. We just need more concentration, carry on with good spirit and be consistent with our form.

“For the past four years we have won the league it was not easy. It has been the same scenario as this year’s but we just need to rise to the occasion and retain the title. “There is everyone reason to believe because the results are coming. “But I urge the boys to carry on with the work as there is no going back now and the daggers have been drawn,” he said.

The champions are facing an inconsistent How Mine who is coming into this match on the back of some draws. Dynamos team manager Richard Chihoro said they have been relishing a chance to return to their home turf after two successive away games. “Even though we are treating the match like any other game, it would be a tough match but we are expecting maximum points at home.

“Our fans miss us and we expect a full house on Sunday. We have been away and been getting good results there and we expect to keep it up with another good show,” he said. With the partnership of Takesure Chinyama and Roderick Mutuma on fire, the champions believe it is game on.

DeMbare will miss another defender Blessing Moyo who is nursing an ankle injury.
