Gospel musician Mathias Mhere left the country on Friday for his first United Kingdom tour. The “Favour” hit-maker said the one month tour is meant to reach out to his fans in the European country. “I am very excited that God has finally made it possible for me preach his word through my music overseas.

“The tour will allow me to meet and mingle with my fans in UK. For a long time they have been waiting for my visit,” he said.
Mhere said he is well prepared to represent the country.

“I am ready for this and I will not disappoint my fans but will deliver anointed acts during the shows.
“My first performance will be on Wednesday in Manchester at Light House,” he said.

Mhere believes the tour will help him market his latest DVD and expand his wings in the music industry.
“The tour will broaden my musical career.

This is a good opportunity for me to market my new DVD to the people that are there,” he said.
The 26-year-old recently celebrated his birthday and launched his second DVD album titled “Nguva YeNyasha” at a single function at Rainbow Towers hotel.

The function was well attended by a large sections of people eager to sample the new album
The eight- track DVD album features hilarious comedian David Mubaiwa better known as Sabhuku Vharazipi on the song “Pamazuva Angu”.
The event was graced by many artistes amongst them Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba, Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave, Jah Prayzah,Sabastian Magacha ,Mudiwa Mtandwa and Pah Chihera.

Mhere is currently riding high with tracks off his latest album like “Number Busy”, “Sahwira” and “Ziya Rangu”.
He rose to prominence with his previous album “Anoita Minana” which made him a household name with hits such as “Favour”, “Chipostori” and “Areka”.
