After a three-year sabbatical gospel musician Sebastain Magacha is set to launch new album called “Wonererwai Jesu” at the Harare International Conference Centre early next month. The musician said the long wait was over and he was coming with an album that has both praise and worshipping songs. He features sungura ace Alick Macheso on the song “Maria naMarita” with other tracks being “Ndiregereiwo”, “Mama My Hero”, “Mweya Nditakure” among others.

“I have been releasing singles without an album and our fans were waiting. All is now in place for the album,” he said.

He has also roped in the services of guitarist Trust Samende on the new album.

“We have several arts personalities that worked on the album and I am glad that fans will have the best,” he said.

Unlike other gospel musicians, Magacha has joined the few that have managed to record live.

He engaged several producers in coming up with different sounds.

“I have worked with different producers to come up with the album. I have not been releasing new stuff because I was at school studying,” he said.

Though he has been featuring on several concerts he has been keeping a low profile.

The musician was elated by the release of the album.

It is yet to be seen if the musician maintains the momentum he gained with songs such as “Go back to sender”, “Ridza Bhosvo” “Gwenzi” and “Ndipeiwo Simba”.

“We do not look back because music is dynamic but I am sure people will definitely like this album,” he said.

He said they will be doing their best in the distribution of the album.
