South African group Mafikizolo is expected in the country today for a gig scheduled for Belgravia Sports Club on Saturday. The South African group will share the stage with Wallace Chirumiko, better known as Winky D, and Jah Prayzah. One of the event organisers Benjamin Nyandoro of Jive Zimbabwe said upon arrival the group will make a ghetto tour to meet their fans.“Everything is in place for the arrival of the group as well as their ghetto tour where they will be meeting their fans,” said Nyandoro.

Fun-loving people are in for a treat as curtains come down on the Harare Agricultural Show. Several events are lined up for this weekend.

South African comedian Riaad Moosa will be cracking ribs with his jokes at Harry Marglois Hall.

This is the first time the comedian dates Harare and a lot is expected from him.

The venue Avondale hosts the space boy party hosted by Subzee and several other performers.

Peter Moyo and his Utakataka Express take to the stage today at the Harare Agricultural Show today along other local musicians.

At Club Joy Centre in Highfield, King of Marabi music Kireni Zulu is expected to give merrymakers a polished act of his folk tales and humour-laced set.

Tanga Wekwa Sando celebrates 30 years in the music industry at Jazz 24/7. The jazz maestro is on a comeback track with several shows lined up before the imminent launch of his album.

Andy Muridzo who is basking in glory with his second album “Ngarizhambe” hosts a potentially explosive gig at Chitsanga Hall in Chiredzi, which JT Nite Sport Granary hosts dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu.

SATURDAY

Harare Cup Clash roars into life at City Sports Centre with several dancehall musicians expected to perform.

The show will see chanters She Calaz, Soul Jah Love, Ricky Fire, Dadza D and Kinna performing.

Organisers said performers who will win the hearts of fans will have the chance to share stage with Jamaican star Romain Virgo.

It is family business as usual as Willom and son Gary Tight perform at Pakare Paye.
