Alick Macheso will share the stage with Douglas Chimbetu at Warren Park 1 Bar tonight at a gig where prodigal son Noel Nyazanda will be on stage for the first time. Nyazanda returned to Orchestra Mberikwazvo early this week after three years away from the group. He had left the group with Jonas Kasamba and Obert Gomba to join hands with Franco “Slomo” Dhaka at Extra Kwazvose.The trio has since rejoined Macheso and Franco is going it alone with Extra Kwazvose.

Tonight Macheso welcomes Nyazanda in Warren Park and the lead guitarist will be out to prove why he is back.

Macheso and Douglas show is one of the many gigs lined up this weekend.

Bar Rouge that is located at Longcheng Plaza in Belvedere hosts Alexio Kawara tomorrow.

Club Las Vergas in Southerton hosts Dendera crooner Suluman Chimbetu tonight before he performs at Madzeka Night Club in Mutoko tomorrow and Manake in Ruwa on Sunday.

His publicist Joe Nyamungoma said they were on a tour sampling songs from their upcoming album that will be released on a yet to be advised date.

“We will be releasing an album very soon and we are on a final stage of consulting our fans before its release. That has been our strategy before,” he said.

At Ziko shopping Centre in Chitungwiza a new entertainment joint Caprive Pub and Grill will be officially opened tomorrow with sungura ace Alick Macheso expected to perform.

The new joint has brought an uptown set up at Ziko.

Chris Mangena who is the new joint owner said they have brought something new for merrymakers who come at Ziko and they were looking forward to Macheso’s show.

Junction 24 another joint along Chitungwiza Road hosts Jah Prayzah for a family show on Sunday.

The musician gives fans a taste of his traditional music as he samples songs from his coming album “Mudhara Vachauya”.
