Isdore Guvamombe Tourism Matrix
The Harare- Beitbridge highway is arguably the most widely used road in the country as it connects SADC countries. The centrality of Zimbabwe makes it a trade-conduit between the port of Durban in South Africa and the rest of SADC countries such as Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo. As such there is a lot of traffic on the road throughout the day and this has necessitated the need for decent accommodation along the highway to cater for weary travellers especially drivers.

The construction of ‘Lodge by the Road’ Lodge along this road fits well within the rebranded A’sambeni theme, which seeks to incorporate MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events) into the travel and tourism matrix.

Located in Mvuma, some 190 kilometres from Harare along the highway to Masvingo, Lodge by the Road offers a unique highway excursion.
The lodge boasts 11 thatched spacious double rooms and a family room with high-tech facilities, which are commensurate with hyped travel excitement.

All rooms are en-suite with classical teak furnishings, coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi, Dstv, as well as secure free parking space for all types of vehicles.
The lodge is located just less than 100 meters from Nice Time Supermarket to which it is an affiliate.

Guests can either decide to walk to the restaurant or request for room service. Refueling services are accessible just a few meters from the lodge.
To add flavour to the ambiance of the excursion, guided bush walks are also available to all guests upon request.

The shadows coming from the mound east of the lodges as the sun sets, gives an exciting impression and leaves one with everlasting memories of sunset photographic experiences.

Lodge by the Road is part of the Nice Time group of supermarkets dotted around the country.
