Tendai Mugabe Herald Reporter
The Zanu-PF National Disciplinary Committee is working to resolve six disciplinary cases involving senior party officials implicated in a nefarious plot to unseat President Mugabe unconstitutionally.

The committee is chaired by Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko. The other members are Dr Grace Mugabe (secretary for Women Affairs), Cde Pupurai Togarepi (secretary for Youths Affairs) and Cde Saviour Kasukuwere (secretary for commissariat).

Cde Kasukuwere and Zanu-PF national spokesperson Cde Simon Khaya Moyo confirmed the development, but refused to divulge the names of those under investigation.

Sources said some of the people set to appear before the NDC include Central Committee member Cde Lazarus Dokora, who is also the Primary and Secondary Education Minister.

Cde Dokora is accused of hosting a meeting of the party’s district members in Mozambique ahead of  the 6th Zanu-PF National People’s Congress held in December last year.

The meeting was reportedly aimed at pushing for the candidature of expelled former Vice President Joice Mujuru to succeed President Mugabe through unprocedural means.
