If the gov’t is serious about fighting corruption, and protecting the public, they need to stop these roadblocks immediately, until they put measures in place,to help us identify, a legal and an illegal police roadblock. Gov’t is helping promote the culture of corruption, at these roadblocks by allowing police officers to work, without id’s, so motorists can identify who they’re. How can gov’t afford to buy new state of the art riot gear from Israel, but can’t provide force numbers for it’s police force?

Taura hako Scariot, looks like its a crime to travel Zimba roads now. This gvt, I have lost all hope in it. And why retain the same komishina who has proved so ineffective?? Cops are just money mongers.

spot fines are what promote these fake roadblocks. give me a ticket and i will pay within a specified period. if not, catch me when you stop me again or track me down. laws are put to bring order not opress.

furthermore, roadbocks are now manned by 15 to 20 police officer at times, for what reason? some they are 2. can`t we have a standard number of police officers per block and remove the spot fines. as long as spot finds are there corruption will never end. each police officer will be having his own book. imagine

If possible, I wish Parly could scap spot fines and reintroduce a ticket payable at a tolgate or police station. Another option could be to have a central paypoint like Ecocash so that mone doesnt go to anybody’s pocket @oarabileosborne
