TRIANGLE coach Kelvin Kaindu has some unfinished business in Zimbabwe football and believes tomorrow he could tick the box.

The Zambian coach has never beaten Dynamos.

“I’m sure the time will come (for me to beat Dynamos). It’s a different season and I always expect something different,” said Kaindu, whose team meet the Glamour Boys in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow.

The Lowveld side lost their previous two assignments against FC Platinum and How Mine to drop to fourth place on the log table.

“I am happy our preparations have been going on well. The few players that missed last week’s game due to injuries are back in training,” said Kaindu.

“They have recovered and should be up for selection. I mean the likes of Jimmy Tigere, Hillary Bakacheza, and Richard Kawondera, who was with the Warriors is back as well.

“We need to bounce back. Despite losing our last match, everyone is looking forward with confidence. Maybe, we have the comfort that we might have lost that match but we were the better side.

“However, we need to be at our best. We know what Dynamos can do. They are the champions and we have so much respect for them.”

His side will, however, miss the services of Young Warriors winger Malvin Gaki who is away with the national Under-23 side in Swaziland. Dynamos will be looking to raise their game and try to pacify their hard-to-please supporters.

The Glamour Boys coach David “Yogi” Mandigora last week was a subject of abuse from some of the supporters who protested against his tactics when they were held to a goalless draw by minnows Tsholotsho Pirates at Rufaro.

Despite making a positive start in defence of their title and sitting third in the championship race after 11 games, DeMbare have always struggled to impress their demanding supporters.

Team manager Richard Chihoro yesterday said the supporters should continue to rally behind their team.

Triangle have plundered 26 goals in 11 starts but Chihoro said DeMbare were not intimidated.

“This should be an exciting match.

“They have the best scoring record and we have the best defence. They score and we defend, so we are going to see who will come out tops at the end of the day,” said Chihoro.

DeMbare are coming from a disappointing home game when they dropped two points against Tsholotsho.

They are currently third on the standings with 21 points, two behind leaders Chicken Inn, who face Buffaloes at Luveve this afternoon.

“Sometimes it’s confusing. The same team that started last Sunday is the same that played at How Mine but there was a big difference in terms of the quality of play.

“For some reason, we are not doing well at home. I don’t know why we are struggling like this. Maybe it’s to do with the turf but no one has talked about it.

“Still we are hoping for a more positive performance this Sunday. We want to promise our supporters a good game and they should come in their numbers,” said Chihoro.

Dynamos will again miss the services of the trio of Simba Nhivi, Qadr Amini and Obey Mwerahari who have been sidelined by injuries.

Youthful goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva, who kept goal in their last match against Tsholotsho, is away on national team duty with the Under-23 side in Swaziland.

Right-back Blessing Moyo has also travelled with the side while attacking midfielder Carlos Rusere has remained to give flair to Mandigora’s team.

Their midfield star player Ronald Chitiyo, who sat out last Sunday’s match, should be back in the fold.
