A man last Friday told a Harare magistrate that his ex-wife was in the habit of calling his manager pleading to have him fired. Kudakwashe Mugwagwa claimed Letwin Majoka visits his workplace where she insults him in the presence of his workmates. This emerged at the Harare Civil Court where Mugwagwa was seeking a protection order against Majoka.
“She is the mother of my two children and I have been paying maintenance since we separated, but she keeps on complaining that it is little,” Mugwagwa said.
Mugwagwa claimed that Majoka once visited his place of residence where she broke in and stole his new wife’s clothes.

Mugwagwa asked Harare magistrate Ms Babra Masinire to bar Majoka from visiting his place of residence and workplace. Majoka did not show up at the court and Ms Masinire granted the protection order in default, barring Majoka from verbally or physically abusing Mugwagwa and to stop visiting his work place. Ms Masinire said she could not bar Majoka from visiting his place of residence since the two had children together.
