Jah Prayzah and sungura ace Alick Macheso will tomorrow join forces in celebrating Suluman Chimbetu’s 33rd birthday bash. Dubbed “Sulu and friends”, the celebrations are set for the Private Lounge in Harare.

Jah Prayzah and Chimbetu have proved to be a force to reckon with whenever they share the stage and this can be evidenced by their performance at the launch of Jah Prayzah’s sixth album “Jerusarema” last Friday.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Chimbetu’s publicist Joe Nyamungoma, said they are expecting a big show since the bash will also see other artistes from different genres performing.

“We are expecting all the big names in showbiz such as Macheso, Jah Prayzah, Alexio Kawara and Soul Jah Love among others,” he said.

He added that the event will also be an opportunity for Sulu to interact with his fans on a personal level.

Since Sulu took the reins at Orchestra Dendera Kings, he has proved to be determined and this has seen him winning a number of awards and having a number of endorsements.

It has become a norm that the musician celebrates his birthday with big names in the country.

Philip Chiyangwea has become a regular on his birthday celebrations. Last year he celebrated his birthday at the Book Cafe and a number of politicians and fellow musicians converged to celebrate with him.
