Who will bag most awards?
Since 1980 there have been those who were influential in the modelling and fashion industry that saw the development of the industry. These people will be awarded tomorrow at Crowne Plaza Hotel where the inaugural Zimbabwe Modelling Awards are being held. The awards show will be hosted by Former Miss Tourism Zimbabwe Rumbidzayi Mudzengerere and winners will receive special prizes and certificates. One of the organisers of the awards, Mercy Mushaninga, said she is happy with how the judging process was conducted and wished nominees good luck.

Mushaninga of ZimGossip models said one of the guests of honour, Nyasha Matonhedze (Louis Vutton model), is no longer coming but they will have first black Miss Zimbabwe Shirley Nyanyiwa-Chingoka and others as special guests. Short night with Toni Braxton and Babyface United States R‘n’B singers Toni Braxton and Babyface will share the stage at Borrowdale Racecourse tonight.

The show, which has tight security with restrictions such as “no flashy cameras or photographers”, will see the two musicians performing with no special local acts in line. Fans will be treated to a double bill as they each perform their own songs before doing a joint act.

The pair whose 2014 album “Love, Marriage & Divorce” won the Best R’n’B award at the Grammys this year, are coming courtesy of Canoc Live. In addition to the outstanding solo work that Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds has released, he’s also had a major part in the careers of some of the singers who are loved the world over

Toni Braxton is no stranger to the world of music and even TV – she’s currently in the reality show “Braxton Family Values” (on DStv’s channel, Vuzu) with her sisters. Her self-titled debut album which was released in 1993 won a Grammy.
