ADELAIDE. — Virat Kohli smashed 90 runs from 55 balls, before India bowled out Australia for 151 to secure a 37-run victory in the first Twenty20 cricket match at the Adelaide Oval yesterday.
The visitors’ attack all came to party with Jasprit Bumrah finishing the match with 3-23.
Captain Aaron Finch top-scored with 44, but no other batsman really contributed to their cause as the hosts were dismissed with three balls to spare.
Earlier, India posted 188 for three after their 20 overs. Kohli continued his impressive form from the one-day series, hitting nine fours and two sixes in a powerful display. — AFP.
