SEKAI Mutora, a mother of two, staggers up a hill carrying a bucket full of water she has just fetched from a nearby stream to water her vegetables. The vegetables are clearly showing signs of moisture stress owing to the scorching heat that has baked the earth in this dry part of the country.
Visibly tired, she has to climb the hill 20 more times to give her crops enough water.
