Why do you want to sleep with another man?” Prime Minister Tsvangirai also talked about devolution of power which is highlighted in the draft constitution. “Devolution of power is not a Matabeleland fight but a national cause. For a very long time, they (Zanu-PF) thought the ones from Matabeleland were the only ones who were campaigning for devolution of power. “We (MDC-T) say a devolved state is the one we want,” Prime Minister Tsvangirai said. The meeting was meant to be the first of a series of such meetings dubbed “Town Hall Meetings”. MDC-T Harare provincial spokesperson Senator Obert Gutu however indicated that the meetings were ‘Yes Vote’ campaigns for the Draft Constitution. |
