| Master of the High Court Nyatanga passes away |

Court Reporter MASTER of the High Court Mr Charles Nyatanga has died. He succumbed to cardiac arrest at West End Hospital yesterday morning. He is survived by a wife and five children. Mourners are gathered at 12 Maldon Road, Greencroft, Harare. Judicial Service Commission deputy secretary Mr Rex Shana said the legal fraternity was saddened by Mr Nyatanga’s death. “The Honourable Chief Justice and the entire Judicial Service Commission is sad to announce the untimely death of Mr Charles Nyatanga, the Master/Registrar/Sheriff of the High Court of Zimbabwe,” he said in a statement. “Mr Nyatanga passed away at West End Hospital, Harare, in the early hours of Wednesday 20 June 2012.” A relative, Mr Eddie Nyatanga, described the now deceased as a family unifier. “We have learnt of the death of Mr Nyatanga with shock. He was a loving uncle who played an integral role in unifying the family. “Burial arrangements are yet to be finalised because we are still waiting for other close relatives from abroad. “The elder brother who is expected to decide on the date and the place of the burial is expected tomorrow evening.” |
