DC ACADEMY came from behind to snatch a late equaliser as they settled for a draw against an out of sorts Power Master in a Zifa Northern Region Division One match at Hellenics yesterday.
Kudzai Nyamupfukudza found the equaliser for DC Academy 10 minutes from time as Newton Chitehwe’s side finally remembered how to score having last found the target against Eiffel Flats last month.
Tafadzwa Mazunze had put Power Master ahead in the 22nd minute as they threatened to tear-apart DC Academy who took time to settle. DC Academy however finished the match with 10 men after James Marufu received his marching orders in the 85th minute for a second bookable offence.
Power Master coach Tonderai Marume was not pleased with the result and challenged his players to lift up their game before it’s too late.
Yesterday’s Results:
Flame Lily 2, DStv Rangers 0; ZPC Kariba 1, Twalumba 1; Black Rhinos 2, Mwana Africa 1; DC Academy 1, Power Master 1; Blue Jets 0, JMC Academy 1; Scotia 3, Skylink 2
