ZIMBABWEAN representatives in Big Brother Africa StarGame Maneta Mazanhi and the popular Rockford “Roki” Josphats were yesterday disqualified after a sensational bust-up that brought a dramatic end to their time on the reality television show.

The incident dashed their hopes of landing the US$300 000 prize money.

It all brought an anti-climactic end to their flirtation in Big Brother’s house which had attracted millions of followers here who were rooting for the Zimbabweans.
Maneta had been nominated for possible eviction this coming Sunday, but Roki, who many tipped to win the big prize, was safe.

However, the script changed dramatically yesterday when they were both shown the exit.

It all started in the garden where Roki (27) poured water on Maneta as she basked in the sun.

Maneta retaliated by pouring a detergent into Roki’s eyes, resulting in him calling for help from other housemates.
Upville housemates broke the fight, but Roki was bleeding.

Biggie stated that: “Maneta and Roki . . . you have both contravened the provocation rule . . . repeatedly. Roki, you intentionally provoked Maneta by pouring water over her head. Maneta, you then threw cleaning fluid in Roki’s face.

“Maneta, you also threatened to stab Roki. This after you had both thrown fluids over each other earlier in the day. Big Brother asked you both to show restraint, and neither of you did. As you are both no doubt aware, you have left Big Brother with absolutely no choice. In terms of the House Rules you have both been disqualified from the game.”
