Fraud, risk advisory and business consultancy firm Proctor and Associates recently donated sports kit to Chatindo primary and secondary schools in Nyanga. This was part of the organisation’s community outreach programme to help disadvantaged communities. The senior partner at Proctor and Associates, Mr Proctor Nyemba, did his primary and secondary education at the two schools.
Local community leaders attended the presentation ceremony that was viewed as a homecoming by one of “their sons”.
Heads of both the primary and secondary schools welcomed the gesture by Proctor and Associates as a noble initiative that would go a long way in boosting the morale of the students.
The new sports kits replaced an old strip that has been used for over two decades.
Presenting the goods to the school, Mr Nyemba urged the pupils to value education, as it was their passport to stardom.
He said that a person’s background did not matter, as long as thet set to achieve their goals.
The company donated two soccer kits, two netball kits and soccer boots to the two schools, as well as golf shirts, and caps and T-shirts for coaches.
