Godknows Matarutse Sports Reporter who last featured for the Warriors in the 2-1 loss in Burundi in a Nations Cup qualifier, said there was need for them to work as a unit and put extra effort. “The response from the players is good and the preparations are going on well with almost everyone called for the duty available. “We need to work together as a team and start our campaign on a positive note so that we can ease pressure on ourselves. “We need to take Guinea seriously because they have good players in their side who play in good leagues around Europe,” said Bhasera. While Guinea played Cameroon in an international friendly match over the weekend, the Warriors were not involved in any high-profile international friendly. Rahman Gumbo’s troops however managed to get a run when they featured in the testimonial match for their former captain Benjani Mwaruwari. Gumbo also took time to assess players like newboy Bradley Pritchard of Charlton Athletic. The Warriors have a busy three-week period in which they play Guinea at home and travel to Mozambique on June 10 for a World Cup qualifier before hosting Burundi in a 2013 African Cup of Nations first round, second leg qualifier.
