TOBACCO growers are ready for the 2012 selling season which starts next Wednesday. Most growers are concentrating on reaping, curing, grading and baling their crop. Zimbabwe Tobacco Growers Association president Mr Stan Kasukuwere said surveys have shown that most farmers were ready for the selling season.
"Farmers are carrying out last touches on the crop although most of them have been experiencing problems with erratic power supplies.
"The constant power cuts are worrisome and we cannot understand why they are so intense especially this time of curing of tobacco," he said.
