IT is the lifestyle of the rich and famous: top of the range cars; holidays in exquisite resorts and lots of women. They enjoy the fun irrespective of the media scrutiny. In some cases, they never seem to learn from their weaknesses.
Former United States president Bill Clinton was a well known womaniser. From a ten-year relationship with Gennifer Flowers before his presidency to Paula Jones and finally Monica Lewinsky who almost cost him his presidency and marriage to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Former IMF president Dominique Strauss Kahn is also said to have the same weakness. It cost him his job a few months ago.
French President Nicholas Sarkozy hopped from one marriage to another soon after he won his first term in office, and everything seemed so normal.

Love of women and life were not the ouster of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, even when he was implicated of having relationships with teenage girls. It was the eurozone crisis that broke the camel's back. Just after quitting office, Berlusconi revived his musical career with a CD of love songs to all the women he loved before.

According to reports last week, the billionaire media mogul and three-time Italian premier released a new CD with his long-time musical collaborator Mariano Apicella. Berlusconi confessed: "I am a very playful person, full of life. I love life, I love women."
Zimbabwean Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai seems to be in the same boat. After the tragic death of his wife Susan, he has been linked to a number of women.

They include American-based medical doctor Arikana Chihombori; Aquilina Kayidza Pamberi; Locadia Karimatsenga Tembo; Loreta Nyathi; an unidentified white woman; Leah Mhundwa; an unnamed Norton woman and now Elizabeth.
With the marriage to Locadia mired in confusion, people wonder whether we are seeing an end to the PM's women.

A rock band group White Snake had a 1980s hit song "Is this love?" Maybe it's time the PM started reflecting on the lyrics, and lead by example: Is this love that I'm feeling?/Is this the love that I've been searching for?/Is this love or am I dreaming?/This must be love ‘cause it's really got a hold on me/A hold on me.
