It is going to be a night for Dendera and Zora music when Leornard “Karikoga” Zhakata shared the stage with Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo at Dandaro Inn. Dubbed “Igwe meets Zora” , the show is one of the many shows lined-up for this weekend. Both artistes said they were optimistic that they would attract big crowds despite other high profiles in and around Harare. “We are ready for the show, everything is under control and we are optimistic that the show will be a success. Considering that it has been such a while since we last shared the stage,

“From the time that I have worked with Peter we have done well so we promise the best,” Zhakata said.

The Utakataka Express front-man was equally happy about the joint show saying they had their own crowd.

“I believe as artists we all have different followers since we are different. The fact that there is Mafikizolo at HICC, then Zim dancehall Shutdown at the City Sports Centre while Jah Prayzah and Sulu are at Pamuzinda will not affect us. We have been rehearsing for the show and we are ready to deliver a top notch performance tomorrow, (today),” Young Igwe said.

Zhakata is riding high with his song “Dhonza Makomborero” which is believed to have influenced the title of his latest project “Zvangu Zvaita”.
