With no rehearsals to attend after recently cancelling her US tour, Iggy Azalea (pictured below) is putting her spare time to good use.

The 25-year-old Australian rapper, whose engagement to NBA player beau Nick Young was announced earlier this month, has revealed she is already planning her upcoming nuptials.

When a fan asked Iggy on Twitter on Monday how engaged life was treating her, the “Fancy” hitmaker replied: ‘‘Great! Already planning the big day.’’

Known for some eclectic style choices on stage and on the red carpet, many fans are expecting to see a quirky fashion twist when Iggy walks down the aisle. But it seems even the Australian-raised musician desires a hint of classic bridal style for her big day.

She courteously replied to the fan: ‘‘Hmmmm im def wearing white or ivory. I do want a pretty traditional style wedding (sic)’’.

Iggy said “yes” to her love Nick earlier this month when he presented her with a massive 10,43 carat diamond ring. The sportsman got down on one knee and proposed to her during his 30th birthday party in Los Angeles. The basketball player presented the rapper with a giant Jason of Beverly Hills engagement ring valued at an eye-watering US$500 000).

The ring has a 8,15 carat Fancy Intense Yellow cushion cut center stone with 2,28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18 carat white gold.

Unable to hide her excitement, Iggy took to social media to show off her stunning new piece of bling and let fans know this is her “happiest day”.

Azalea also posted a birthday message to her man before the proposal, and wrote: ‘‘Happy 30th to my now old man nick! I’ll save the really mushy stuff for inside your birthday card that way you can blackmail me with it later. For now it’s just a simple: I looooove you, I’d do anything for you. Glad you exist etc etc. PS. If we get old together don’t die before me. (Jk).’’

The pair first began dating in September 2013. Meanwhile, it hasn’t just been her upcoming nuptials on Iggy’s mind.

On Monday she shared a selfie, addressing any online death hoax rumours by adding the caption: “Contrary to popular belief, I’m still alive! #higuys lol”.

In a denim blue jacket, Iggy stared into the camera lens with her blonde locks pulled back in a sleek low bun.

Wearing a gold chain around her neck, the musician completed her look with lashings of jet black mascara and a slick of light pink lipstick.
