Iggy Azalea is engaged to her NBA player beau, Nick Young.

The sportsman got down on one knee during his 30th birthday party on Monday night in Los Angeles.

The basketball player presented the 24-year-old Australian rapper with a giant 10.43 carat Jason of Beverly Hills engagement ring valued at $500 000.

The ring has a 8.15 carat Fancy Intense Yellow cushion cut centre stone with 2.28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18 carat white gold.

In a white T-shirt layered with a black jacket, Nick kept his attire casual for the big proposal though the glimmering ring he presented made it quite the extravagant affair.

‘‘Would you marry me?’’ he asked his musician lady love, in a video shared on social media by Karen Civil.

‘‘Yes,’’ Iggy responded without hesitation, triggering the cheers of their close friends attending the birthday bash.

And there was no doubt the ring was quite the impressive piece of bling.

‘‘Nick was very involved in designing the ring,’’ said Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills.

‘‘We wanted it to be both a ring of Iggy’s dreams and a ring that fit her personal style. It is always an honour when a client trusts me to help design a ring that symbolises one of the most important decisions of their life.’’

Dressed casually for her man’s birthday, Iggy was seen sporting a pale pink blouse teamed with white trousers when Nick popped the big question.

The blonde, whose long locks were worn out sleek and straight, also donned a maroon coloured hat.

Iggy and Nick have been dating for over a year-and-a-half and it was only very recently that he hinted an engagement was on the cards.

When asked if marriage was a possibility, he told PEOPLE: ‘‘Of course! Of course! But I can’t give you that surprise. You’re gonna ruin that surprise.’’

Iggy took to Instagram on Monday to wish her Los Angeles Lakers star boyfriend a happy birthday.

‘‘Happy 30th to my now old man Nick! I’ll save the really mushy stuff for inside your birthday card that way you can blackmail me with it later,’’ she wrote.

‘‘For now it’s just a simple I looooove you, I’d do anything for you. Glad you exist etc etc.

‘‘Ps. If we get old together don’t die before me. (JK).’

Meanwhile it’s only a few days until Iggy herself celebrates turning another year older.

She’ll be 25 on June 7, and Nick recently revealed how he plans to spoil the stunner on her big day.

‘‘I’m planning trips and everything,” he told PEOPLE magazine.

‘‘It’s going to be a big surprise, I can’t tell you anything. You’ll see next week. We’re doing everything,’ he said. — dailymail.
