How you can fulfil your destiny

dunamisBishop B. Manjoro Dunamis
Today I will talk to you about destiny. No matter who you are or what you are going through now, you were born for a reason. There is a purpose why you are here on earth. If you have not yet discovered it, may you get restless till you know it! If you already know it, go for it and stay focused. As the year is winding up we all have a challenge to stay relevant. It’s destiny that matters above all.

Go for your destiny! Yes, obstacles will come but you can and you will overcome all!

“And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, ‘Here am I’. And he ran unto Eli, and said, ‘Here am I’; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

“Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him.And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.” 1 Samuel 3:1-10

From the story above we see Samuel being called by the Lord to be a prophet in Israel. It was just the beginning yet he had been serving God for quite a while. Every believer, preacher or minister strive for relevance in life and ministry. It is one thing to serve him yet it’s another thing to know him; the God you are serving; and yet another thing to know yourself and your purpose.

Once you know it you need to pursue it and fulfill it. There is a challenge for every human being alive — relevance! It is your destiny that gives you relevance. If you run with your gift its wonderful but if you forget and don’t remember who gave you the gift you become irrelevant. God gave you the gift.

There are times you go through hard times in ministry or other areas of life, in such times fight to be relevant. For example if you are a minister and you are wondering how am I going to make ends meet financially for my family and be able to provide for them — stay relevant and keep your destiny before you!

Mostly it will be a season you will be passing through!
If you handle it well and lean on God you will begin to see provision come your way! O hallelujah!

We once went on a mission trip and our car was running out of fuel. We also had no more food and resources. We were looking for the person who had invited us. A stranger came to us, asked us who we were and we told him we are preachers from Zimbabwe and we have come to preach, we are looking for pastor so and so. He didn’t say much he said follow me and took us to a hotel, booked a room for us.

Before we knew what was happening he ordered food for us and said I’m coming back. All our needs were met, he later helped us connect with church and we began to preach the gospel!O hallelujah! To this day we are all convinced the man was a messenger! It was a tough time but God came through!

When you are going through tough times it doesn’t mean you are not called, it means you are just going through a phase in your life. When things get tough don’t be angry or feel discouraged. Don’t let the gift die because of what you go through. Each anointing, each destiny, each purpose, each calling has another side.

It comes with beauty and also comes with suffering. Like a coin there is head and teller. Be able to embrace both sides. If you need to be a powerful preacher, a powerful business person, a powerful engineer or any field in life; be willing to go through what these people go through. If you want to be like Paul be willing to be left for dead like Paul for the sake of the gospel.

When you get the anointing seek to know who gave you the anointing. When you discover your purpose seek to know and remember who gave you the purpose. May you fulfil your destiny! We will get to a time we say Ebenezer thus far the Lord has taken us.

Life is by grace! Receive the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ for your purpose!
