New entertainment joint House of Sphinx located at Cresta Oasis Hotel was a hive of activity over the weekend as merrymakers thronged the place for up-market leisure. The joint, which opened last month, is fast becoming popular with stylish clubbers that enjoy classic entertainment. DJs Big Dollar Bruce, Yong Fresh and Flevah selected a mixed music bag on Friday night while DJ Brown, Phatman and Chief G joined them for the Saturday slot.

Revellers in trendy fashion outfits danced to various club mixes as the wheel spinners did their best until wee hours.
Big Dollar Bruce said their team was having a good time at House of Sphinx since it opened.

“The popularity of the place has been growing over the past weeks and the response, especially at weekends is now overwhelming,” he said.
“I think this place has added a new flavour to night-life in the Avenues Area and we will do our best to keep our good standards on the turntables so that we keep our patrons entertained.”

The new place is run by fast-growing promotions stable Platinum Entertainment led by Spencer “The Boss” Madziya.
Madziya said the entertainment programme at the venue was meant to appeal to patrons across age divide.

“The joint is our new baby and our line is steadily growing.
“We have made it a place for people of various ages because it is all about fun,” he said.

“We are coming up with various entertainment activities to provide a complete night-life package for all seasons.
“We have put in place facilities for summer entertainment and we will have a bigger package this coming festive season.

“People should look forward to an exciting season.”
Platinum Entertainment is known for hosting dancehall and urban grooves musicians at most of their shows with an aim of developing talent moung the youths.
