Approximately 5km out of the city of Kwekwe towards Gweru, a smooth tarred strip angles off northwards essentially easing traffic congestion on the road that leads to the once vibrant steel smelting Redcliff Town.
As the road meanders, to the left and right, huge Msasa trees devoid of their usual greenery semblance, sprawling vistas of red soils, dry grass covered dunes juxtaposed with a carpet of blue sky convey an image of a thirsty mother nature pleading with the gods for some drops of rainfall.

As the car moves along the slender tar, a tall building delicately perched on what looks to be the focal point of the small town’s Central Business District adamantly towers the pines and other indigenous trees that litter the town.

With words “Hotel Redcliff” clearly inscribed on the building for everyone to see, there is no more warm welcome gesture that a visitor to Redcliff Town would want that supersedes being in the know of where to put up before getting down to the nitty-gritties of the visit.

With the greenery and well-manicured enigmatic shrubbery and thriving lawn outside the two storey building, Hotel Redcliff is far from rustic – it offers the guest a very conducive environment to stay in an extremely quiet but comfortable setting.

Run by a robust and friendly team led by manager, Mrs Margret Mhaka, Hotel Redcliff offers luxurious accommodation in a quiet and serene environment- a perfect place for retreats and workshops.

The guest can pick from large, plush en-suites elegantly equipped with mammoth beds furnished with DStv and Jacuzzi for the convenience of the guest.
The spotless white linen in the rooms, blended with colourful mats and abstract colours on the walls gives the guest an extremely relaxed mood.

The hotel has a huge bar and executive lounge for those who would want to have their drinks in a tranquil environment.
Boasting two huge conference facilities, which can accommodate up to 300 delegates, Hotel Redcliff provides the perfect venue for company retreats and other workshops in a very quiet environment.

The 45 bed hotel also offers a variety of dishes depending on the guest’s request and has 24 hour room service at the guest’s disposal.
