Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind

Tinashe Nyamushanya
Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large.

It is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or the events will turn out for the best.

Listen to the don’t, listen to the shouldn’t, the impossible and the won’ts.

Listen to the never haves, then listen close to one another, anything can happen child anything can be.

When we love we always strive to become better than we are everything around us becomes better too and that is how hope works.

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge.

That myth is more potent than history.

That dreams are more powerful that facts.

That hope always triumphs over experience.

That laughter is the only cure for grief and I believe that love is stronger than death.

If you want to gain hope hold fast to dreams for if dreams die, life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly. There is neither happiness nor misery in the world, there is only the comparison of one state with another nothing more. He who has felt deepest grief is able to experience supreme happiness and all human wisdom is contained on these two words – wait and hope.

“Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without words and never stops at all.

“A person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: Someone to love, something to do and something to hope for.

Hope is mingled with faith and love.

“To make a better universe we have to hope against hope that is to hope without any basis for expecting fulfilment.

Hopeful people are like the little engines that could because they keep telling themselves “I think I can,I think I can”.

Such positive thinking bears fruit when based on a realistic sense of optimism, not a naive thus “false hope”.

Till next time, have fun and be creative!
