GUNNERS captain Tendai Huwa says they just need to concentrate on their game against Bindura United, adding they can still win the World Navi Northern Region Division One title. The former Premiership side and leaders Flame Lily battle, for one last time, as the race for the league title reaches its climax. Both teams will conclude their campaign away from home, with Gunners taking on Bindura United at Chipadze, while Flame Lily battle ZRP Football Club at Morris.

Gunners can only win the title if they beat Bindura and Flame Lily lose.
“I don’t have much to say, but we are not looking at how Flame Lily are playing. We are concentrating on our game,” said Huwa. “If we win in Bindura and Flame Lily lose, we can take the championship; but we are not worried much about how they are going to play.

“We just need to win the weekend’s game. Preparations are going on well in our camp and we are going to play our normal game, just like any other game we have played before.”

Huwa conceded that the defeats they suffered at the hands of DStv Rangers and Commando derailed their campaign.
“The games we lost to DStv Rangers and Commando are where we lost it, but we are definitely aiming high. We are not looking down; we need that championship and if all goes well we will win the title,” said Huwa.
