Government says it will only quarantine Ebola patients and suspects will be screened thoroughly and be monitored for 21 days to determine if they do not contract the deadly disease.Health and Child Welfare Minister Dr David Parirenyatwa, said no suspects would be quarantined.

Minister Parirenyatwa had earlier been quoted as saying Zimbabwe would quarantine suspects who travel to Zimbabwe while fielding questions in Senate on Thursday.

“We will screen thoroughly those coming from countries with Ebola. Thereafter we will monitor them for 21 days because the disease has an incubation period of 21 days. It is only those who would have been confirmed to have Ebola that we will quarantine,” said Minister Parirenyatwa.

He said it was important the disease be confined in those countries it originated from.

“We are concerned with this travel issue at our airports here in Harare and Bulawayo. Everyone, from the affected countries should be thoroughly screened for 21 days to see if their temperatures was not rising.”

Varungu vaneutsinye unoshatisa. Kana uri munhu anofunga you should know that AIDS and EBOLA came from exactly the same place in Sierra Leonne, and is man made. This is a testing ground, or their playing field for Bio-weapons made for population control. I know these are slave built nations, but how can diseases like this suddenly outbreak in this manner when we Africans who lived here for thousands of years and never experience things like this. Bats and monkeys, though they are not natural food sources, cannot just spawn a virus like this out of thin air. We black people are still their slaves. Through pride can we hope to free ourselves. Zimbabwe is the only African country trying to do this while it’s neighbors watch. If not for sanctions or the credit freeze, we would be able to handle things and be able to deal with corruption at thee same time. Now varungu are using sanctions to grip our throats and forcing us, a liberated country, to do their racist biding, like giving our 45% of our land to less than 5% of the population.Land, the thing we fought for in the first place.
