South Africa’s finest artistes, Goldfish Live together with Beatenberg of the “Pluto” (Remember You) fame will this year headline the third edition of the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival slated for December 29 to 31. The artistes that have not performed in the country before expressed excitement about the development saying they were ready to thrill.

“We’re so excited to be heading down to the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival this year. We’ve been playing all over the world but there’s nothing more special to us than playing in Africa, this will be our first ever performance in Zimbabwe, and we can’t wait to spend our festive season in this amazing place!” said electronic duo Goldfish Live

Having proved their musical credentials with a record-breaking eight South African Music Awards nominations and numerous number one hits, Goldfish Live’s genre-defying mix of live instruments, house beats and searing live performances have made them popular not only regionally but internationally.

In the upcoming three day annual extravaganza that is now in its third year, equally talented local acts Wallas “Winky D” Chirimuko and afro jazz legend Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi will perform.

Winky D and Tuku are no strangers to big local shows as they are known to thrill anytime and anywhere.
It is their ability to rise to the occasion with a different audience that will be put to test during carnival

“In addition to an epic lineup and the breath-taking Victoria Falls, festival-goers can push their adventure limits to the test with a variety of adrenaline activities such as gorge swinging, river rafting and bungee jumping,” said the organisers in a presser.
They said the Jameson Vic Falls Carnival will this year be more exciting and will set the African adventure capital ablaze.

“Whether a seasoned festival-goer or adventurous newbie, this is one festival to add to your calendar and tick off that bucket list!” said the organisers.

A train party will take the attendees to a secret bush party deep in the nature reserve on December 29.
The following day will see the world famous colour festival with after-parties in four of Vic Fall’s most popular party venues.

A New Year’s festival will shut the festival at the Victoria Falls Primary School fields.
The event is sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey and organised by renowned world-class event organisers Seed Experiences.
