The remains of Given Flint Matapure, the three-year-old boy who went missing at the Harare Agricultural Show almost three years ago, are still at Harare Central Hospital mortuary.
The family is refusing to bury the remains even after a forensic examination by South African pathologists confirmed they were Given’s.
“The parents still want the people we once arrested to be picked up for questioning again. We cleared them all since there was no tangible evidence linking them to the case,” a senior police officer said.

Matapure (3) went missing at the Exhibition Park in August 2011 and was found dead three months later.
Given, who would have turned six this year, disappeared after he had gone to the agriculture show in the company of a maid.
