‘Friends Forever’ gig gathers momentum

Jah Prayzah and Suluman Chimbetu’s ‘friends forever’ gig could be an after-party to Zimbabwe Music Awards ceremony. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday at the Harare International Conference Centre while the two musicians have a gig in the capital on the same night at the Private Lounge. The two have been nominated in several categories and they will be going to the concert after the ceremony.

Jah Prayzah and Sulu’s concert that has been the talk of the town in the showbiz circles has been regarded as an after awards party. The organisers of the event said having the Zima awards on the same date was a blessing as the two musicians would celebrate with their fans after ceremony.

“This is a golden opportunity for Jah Prayzah and Sulu as they would have time to celebrate with their fans if they win,” he said. Sulu’s publicist said the opportunity was golden and they were looking forward to a thrilling show.

“It is not usual to have such two big events on the same night. To us we will have a great opportunity to celebrate with our fans if we manage to win,” he said.

Coming back to the show he said fans should simply come in numbers to see what they have for their fans.

Jah Prayzah who is the man of the moment said he was happy to be having such a big show on the day of the show.

Through his manager Keen Mushapaidze the musician urged fans to come in their numbers as they celebrate their friendship with Sulu.
